Puffins are very close to my heart, being from the Channel Islands where we have Puffin on Channel Television, reading out the kids' birthday cards on Puffins Plaice most days. 

The puffin is very vulenerable to disasters in our seas and coasts, such as oil spillages, and a number of the RSPB coastal reserves have safe places where puffins can nest.   Puffins only lay one egg every year, so they need extra protection.  Gifts such as this singing puffin help the RSPB continue with its work protecting species such as the comical and loveable puffin.   You can find out more about the RSPB's work safeguarding our seas here
