Adopt a penguin from London Zoo
£24.00
This is Ricky, a Rockhopper Penguin who's located at London Zoo. He's the star of the daily Peckish Penguin feed & keeper talk and is a bit of a character - if he's not getting enough fish, he'll hop around the keeper making noise until he does. Animal adoptions at London Zoo include afree e-ticket to the zoo - so you can visit your animal, access to exclusive animal web pages - for images and videos about your animal plus a personalised e-certificate to download and proudly display. There's also a subscription to Wild About – ZSL’s award-winning quarterly magazine and email updates to help you keep track of what your animal has been up to

Give a penguin lover a Penguin feeding experience at Druisillas Park in Sussex

Penguin Feeding Experience for One at Drusillas Park, East Sussex
£75.00
Virgin Experience Days have a number of experiences at Drusillas Park, and among them is the chance to feed the penguins! An animal keeper will meet you and give you a behind the scenes tour before taking you to the Penguin enclosure. A health and safety briefing is followed by a short discussion on the two species at Drusillas Park, namely the Humboldt and Rockhopper Penguins, their conservation status in the wild and how the Park cares for them on a daily basis. Then it's time to get hands on with preparing their food of a fishy treat before helping to feed them. Feeding time over, you'll have the chance to get clicking with your camera! You can stay at the park afteawrds or beforehand to enjoy the day there. There's a 20% discount for the participant in the Explorers Café Restaurant. Minimum age: 6 (under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will receive free entry to the Park but not access to the animal enclosure)
