Head to Kent, where this experience starts with refreshments. There's a briefing on the Big Cats, plus basic health & safety info, together with a session on how to get the best from the photo opportunities ahead.
Then it's off to tour the venue, visiting each of the big cats in turn. The key to this venue is the ability to inside the main fence and photograph these majestic predators through the single main enclosure fence where the cats are mainly kept.
Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Cheetah, Lynx, Serval and other cats await you, and you'll be able to capture their various personalities throughout the day and also their behaviour and the way they interact. Keepers will help encourage the cats into the best positions, (aided with bits of food, of course) and your guide will offer advice and tips on the photographic chances.
Break off for a sandwich lunch & refreshments before you continue your tour. At the end of it, you can go back and revisit your favourite cats of the day (I don't think I'd be able to choose one over the other), and also to cover anything you might have missed first time around
The day includes admission, tuition, guidance lunch & refreshments. As with any animal experience, there's no guarantee all the species of big cat mentioned here or on the Virgin site will be about... the content and equipment may vary. But this experience gives any big cat lover the chance to get closer to these wonderful animals, to have a go at their photography - and they'll have lots of superb memories to take home after the day draws to a close, both in mind and heart and on camera!
