The World Land Trust works in partnership with local communities, individuals & organisations to ensure their commitment to the work undertaken in their area. The charity also works with local conservation groups to ensure that efforts are directed in the best way - it relies on local expertise
So if you sponsor half an acre or an acre of land as a gift, you're actually protecting millions of animals with your sponsorship in that area. Within any given acre of rainforest or any other habitats, there will be millions of animals, fauna and flora in the area who are all living in the undergrown or trees, the skies, rivers & lakes.
