Send a card

You're looking for a card to send. Maybe you want something funny or somthing very personal, but either way, Hallmark understand the importance of a simple, strong message that says it all. They've been sending love and best wishes around the world for years, since Victorian times in fact. But they've kept up with the times, & you'll find lots of e-cards for you to choose from, if that's what you want to send.
You can personalise many of their cards, too. There's an excellent range of cards to choose from, covering a range of themes, & you can upload a photo in some cards, send a card from the cat, or the dog or the children. And there are some really cute cards to send as well
Hallmark cards are all about connecting & giving love - I've been using them for years and they've never let me down, their message has always been spot on and perfect for the recipient & the occasion. Whether you want someone to feel loved and appreciated, or just want to say hi to connect, they have the right card.

Re-using cards & Christmas cards
One of our neighbours keeps the cards she's received to write short messages on. She cuts them in two, takes the bit with the picture on and writes her note on the back. It means the recipient gets the note she means to write, plus a lovely picture too. This is great if you just want to write someone a quick note but use more than a scrap of paper to jot it down on. And if you're sending something to a friend or loved one through the post, it can be a great way to jot a quick note down to them without having to write yards.
You could also see if local primary schools can use your used cards in any way - so long as the front is suitable!
Sorry cards
There are a range of sorry cards, from Sorry You're not well, to Sorry You're Leaving & just blank ones for you to write your own thoughts. More...
Saying thanks
Please save your used stamps!
I couldn't finish this page without mentioning that many charities can turn old used postage stamps into funds! There are several animal charities for instance, which receive used stamps. You do need to be careful about the way you cut out the stamps - don't tear them or damage them. There's a list of animal charities which take used stamps here - why not make a habit of saving your used stamps from now on and putting them in the post?
